During the fourth edition of the International Summit of Cities and Regions, organized by President Zelensky, the City of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, in the Île-de-France Region, renewed its cooperation agreement with Nizhyn, located in Chernihiv Oblast.

This signing once again confirms the strength and continuity of the ties between the two cities. It reflects the shared commitment of Arnaud Péricard, Mayor of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, and Oleksandr Kodola, Mayor of Nizhyn, to continue exchanges and projects already launched in key areas: education, culture, sport, youth, tourism, social action and environmental protection.

As Ukraine continues to fight for its independence in the face of Russian aggression, decentralized cooperation shows its full importance. This is the very purpose of our MistoMatch programme: behind every partnership are residents, elected officials and associations building lasting human ties, sharing their experiences and taking concrete action to support Ukrainian resistance and the country’s reconstruction.
