Last night, Russia struck Kharkiv again:
7 civilians were killed, including an 18-month-old baby. More than 20 were injured, including several children.
Kharkiv: The city was targeted twice during the night, first by a ballistic missile, then by a suicide drone. The latter crashed into a residential building in the Industrialnyi district, causing fires on the 2nd to 4th floors in a stairwell, and completely destroying the top floor of another.
Zaporizhzhia: 3 dead and 20 injured in a new salvo of missiles.
Odessa: Targeted strike against an energy infrastructure belonging to an Azeri company, proof that Moscow is also attacking Ukraine’s alliances and its energy sovereignty. While today in Washington, the leaders of the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Finland, the EU and NATO are gathering around President Zelensky to discuss peace and security, Donald Trump rolled out the red carpet last Friday in Alaska for Vladimir Putin – a Putin who continues to bomb, kill and terrorize Ukraine.
Putin deliberately massacres civilians to humiliate, pressure and torpedo any diplomatic initiative. This is why Ukraine demands more than ever:
• real security guarantees,
• the means to stop this terror,
• and that no reward be given to Russia for this war.
It’s finally time for Moscow to hear: STOP.
Time to put an end to the killing of civilians.
But words are no longer enough. Action is essential.
It is urgently necessary to:
• remove 210 billion in frozen Russian state assets,
• hand over to Kyiv the long-range missiles that have been requested for months,
• produce sufficient ammunition,
• block the Russian ghost fleet that is circumventing sanctions,
• impose a complete embargo on Russian fossil fuels,
• and accelerate Ukraine’s integration into the European Union.
