A 6.5 kW generator arrived in Kherson a few days ago thanks to the commitment of the City of Saint-Nazaire and Saint-Nazaire Agglomeration, a partner community standing in solidarity with Ukraine.
As Ukraine's energy infrastructure continues to be heavily targeted by Russian attacks, this equipment will help strengthen local resilience and ensure the continuity of essential municipal services during power outages.
This initiative is part of the DesLumièresPourLHiver campaign, coordinated by Stand With Ukraine and Electriciens sans frontières, and demonstrates the strength of decentralized cooperation in delivering practical solidarity to Ukrainian communities.

A 33 kVA generator is now operational in Korostyshiv, Zhytomyr Oblast.
Since the beginning of the war, Russian attacks have systematically targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, leaving millions of people without heating and electricity for extended periods.
The generator powers the college’s boiler house, ensuring the continuity of classes and the operation of the dormitory, which also accommodates internally displaced people, during power outages. It enabled the institution to get through a difficult winter while maintaining stable operations.

The war in Ukraine is not being fought only on the battlefield. It also reaches our information spaces, and teachers are on the front line.
It was in this context that Stand With Ukraine took part in a three-day training programme held at the Jean Monnet House from 11 to 13 March, organized by the European Parliament and bringing together 30 teachers involved in the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme.
