This week, a generator arrived in the city of Semenivka, thanks to the support of the twinning committee of its partner town, Sailly-Lez-Lannoy, as part of Des Lumières Pour L’Hiver campaign, carried out in partnership with Electriciens sans frontières.
The generator will enable the town’s medical centre to continue operating during power outages caused by Russian attacks, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential healthcare services for local residents.
The partnership between Semenivka and Sailly-Lez-Lannoy goes beyond material assistance. This September, as part of the TIPS4UA programme, local government representatives from both municipalities will take part in study visits and exchanges in Sailly-Lez-Lannoy to share best practices in healthcare and local governance.
Our sincere thanks to the twinning committee of Sailly-Lez-Lannoy, to everyone who contributed to the fundraising campaign, and to all our partners for their commitment and solidarity. Together, we continue to prove that cooperation and solidarity can make a real difference.
