As Ukraine endures an exceptional cold wave, with temperatures dropping as low as –20°C, Russia is intensifying its air strikes against civilian energy infrastructure.
Electricity, district heating, and distribution networks are being methodically targeted to trigger a humanitarian crisis in the middle of winter.
In Kyiv, millions of residents are experiencing prolonged power outages. Without electricity or heating, apartments become uninhabitable. Energy workers are operating under extreme conditions, while new waves of attacks are being announced.
This strategy is clear: to exhaust the population, test the limits of Ukraine’s air defense, and turn the cold into an instrument of war.
Yet despite darkness and freezing temperatures, resilience remains. Ukrainians adapt, support one another, and refuse to give in to fear.

Objective: to deliver generators to Ukrainian municipalities most in need, ensuring minimal access to electricity and heating for essential infrastructure and civilian populations.
