🛠️After feigning its withdrawal from Russia in 2023, Leroy Merlin remains the largest foreign consumer goods company operating in the country.According to estimates by the Kyiv School of Economics, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the French DIY giant has generated approximately $21 billion in revenue in Russia and paid at least $375 million in corporate taxes, including $128 million in 2024 alone.

This month, several Russian propaganda outlets claimed that Leroy Merlin products were being used by the Russian military in its war against Ukraine.
The B4Ukraine coalition, of which Stand With Ukraine is a member, has repeatedly attempted to open a constructive dialogue with the company. Leroy Merlin has chosen to remain silent.

In 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on #LeroyMerlin to “stop sponsoring the Russian war machine, stop financing the murder of children and women, and rape.”
Three years later, this call remains critically relevant.
Leroy Merlin must make a choice. A moral choice. A historic choice.
The choice to leave Russia.
The choice to finally place itself on the right side of history, as the French people have done.
