🇫🇷🤝🇺🇦 It’s a big day for our Ukrainian interns in Le Havre: for the first time, they cooked for real customers.

The pop-up restaurant La Cantine de Mariupol opened its doors today in the heart of La Halle aux Poissons, an iconic landmark in the city of Le Havre.

Every Wednesday and Friday at noon until the end of July, the people of Le Havre are invited to come and have lunch there.

On the menu: quality French cuisine, prepared by Ukrainian trainees trained by the teams of chef Thierry Marx and Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s), in partnership with the Lycée des Métiers de l’Hôtellerie et des Services Jules Le Cesne, the City of Le Havre, the city of Mariupol, and the Embassy of Ukraine in France.

🍽️ Menu of the day for this opening:

Starter: Trout and beetroot gravlax

Main dish: Sautéed hunter’s chicken, buttered orecchiette and braised fennel

Dessert: Coffee cream, served with a coffee

Come and enjoy a unique culinary experience and support a meaningful project, at the crossroads of gastronomy, training and solidarity.
