On Friday 11 July, Édouard Philippe, Mayor of LH Le Havre, visited the Halle aux Poissons to meet the 11 Ukrainian trainees from Marioupol who are currently being trained in French cuisine as part of the partnership between the City of Le Havre and the town of Marioupol.

He was able to chat with them, find out about their work in the kitchen, taste their dishes, and see for himself the human and practical richness of this grassroots project, the fruit of collaboration between several institutional and associative partners.
Once again, the temporary training restaurant was fully booked, buoyed by the enthusiasm of the people of Le Havre who came to support the initiative. A fine example of success and local solidarity!
