August 24: Ukrainian Independence DayOn August 24, 1991, Ukraine declared its independence after the collapse of the USSR. Since then, this date has been observed as a Ukrainian national holiday: a day of freedom, remembrance, and pride.

On August 24, 2025, rallies and events will be held in many cities across France to express our solidarity with Ukraine and its people, who continue to resist Russian aggression.

All practical information, city by city, is available on Razom:
In Ukrainian, Razom means “together.” And it is together, united, that we will make our voices heard in support of the Ukrainian resistance and its struggle for freedom.
