On October 13, 2024, a new bridge of solidarity was built between France and Ukraine with the <\/span>signing of a twinning agreement between the towns of Rueil-Malmaison and Chernivtsi<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, Patrick Ollier,<\/span> mayor of Rueil-Malmaison<\/b>, and Roman Klichuk, <\/span>mayor of Chernivtsi<\/b>, signed the protocol in the presence of Vadym Omelchenko, <\/span>Ukrainian ambassador to France<\/b>. This link between the two cities reinforces the concrete actions in support of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the Jacques Baumel media library inaugurated the exhibition <\/span>“<\/b>L\u2019Ukraine, les r\u00e9sistantes de l\u2019ombre<\/b><\/a> \u201d<\/b>, highlighting <\/span>20 portraits of Ukrainian women<\/b> who, through their courage, are actively participating in the <\/span>resistance against Russian aggression<\/b>. The exhibition, open until November 2, is a powerful testament to the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many thanks to the <\/span>Ukraine-Rueil association<\/span><\/a>, chaired by Kate Rozdabara, who helped make the event a success. This twinning promises to be the starting point for inspiring projects in the spirit of Franco-Ukrainian friendship and solidarity.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the Jacques Baumel media library inaugurated the exhibition “Ukraine: Women of the Shadows”<\/strong>, showcasing 20 portraits of Ukrainian women who, through their courage, play an active role in resisting Russian aggression. Open until November 2, this exhibition is a powerful testament to the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people.<\/p>\n
