As part of the<\/span> Babylon Villeneuve<\/span><\/a> project, we’re delighted to invite you to a screening of the documentary \u201cLe Kilom\u00e8tre\u201d, directed by the prestigious Ukrainian collective<\/span> Babylon’13<\/span><\/a>, at the Espace Saint-Michel cinema in Paris’s 5th arrondissement!<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf9e\ufe0f Synopsis: In February 2022, Roman Liubyi works as a videographer for a drama production in London. When the <\/span>Russian army invades the Kyiv region<\/b>, he decides to return to his family in <\/span>Irpin<\/b>, which quickly becomes a battlefield.<\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6 \ud83c\udfda\ufe0f With thousands of civilians, including his wife, parents and 9-year-old daughter, hiding in basements cut off from the rest of the country by the<\/span> Russian invaders<\/b>, Roman joins an <\/span>aerial reconnaissance unit<\/b> tasked with <\/span>mapping enemy movements<\/b> and <\/span>helping those living under occupation<\/b>, with no possibility of evacuation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to his <\/span>drone<\/b>, Roman manages to get closer to his home and loved ones, although in reality, a world separates them.<\/span><\/p>\n
