A New Partnership Is Born!<\/p>\n
In Kyiv, as part of the International Summit of Cities and Regions, the cities of Carri\u00e8res-sous-Poissy, in the \u00cele-de-France Region, and Ivankiv, located in Kyiv Oblast, signed a protocol of intent for cooperation, marking a new stage in the bonds of solidarity between the two municipalities.<\/p>\n
This signing followed a first meeting held by videoconference between Eddie A\u00eft, Mayor of Carri\u00e8res-sous-Poissy, and Oksana Kadun, Deputy Mayor of Ivankiv. On the eve of the International Summit, Eddie A\u00eft visited Ivankiv and met with the municipal team, combining working meetings with visits around the city. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to building a lasting partnership based on exchange, trust and concrete projects serving local residents.<\/p>\n
Since the first days of the war, Carri\u00e8res-sous-Poissy has shown its solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Developed with the support of Cities4Cities<\/em>, this partnership aims to build long-term cooperation between two territories connected by many similarities: young, human-scale, dynamic cities, attached to a peaceful living environment surrounded by nature and looking toward the future.<\/p>\n This memorandum opens the way for exchanges in several areas: sharing experience between local authorities, culture and education, the development of joint projects, and regular dialogue between municipal teams.<\/p>\n As Ukrainian communities continue their efforts toward resilience and reconstruction, partnerships between local authorities take on their full meaning.
