Last night in Paris, the opening evening of the Saison de l\u2019Ukraine en France \u2013 Le Voyage en Ukraine<\/strong> took place, launching a major cultural program that will run across the country from December 2025 to March 2026.<\/p>\n

Co-organized by the Ukrainian and French Ministries of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> (\u041c\u0456\u043d\u0456\u0441\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e \u0437\u0430\u043a\u043e\u0440\u0434\u043e\u043d\u043d\u0438\u0445 \u0441\u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432 \u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0438 \/ MFA of Ukraine, France Diplomatie), with the support of the Ministries of Culture<\/strong>, the Institut fran\u00e7ais<\/strong>, the Ukrainian Institute in France<\/strong>, and the Embassy of Ukraine in France<\/strong> (\u041f\u043e\u0441\u043e\u043b\u044c\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e \u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0438 \u0443 \u0424\u0440\u0430\u043d\u0446\u0456\u0457), the Season was inaugurated in the presence of Brigitte Macron, Olena Zelenska, Jean-No\u00ebl Barrot, Rachida Dati, Andriy Sybiha<\/strong>, and Anne Hidalgo<\/strong>, alongside numerous figures from the cultural world.<\/p>\n

At the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Ville \u2013 Paris<\/strong>, the opening evening, titled \u201cCulture Strikes Back!\u201d<\/strong>, brought together Ukrainian and French artists and intellectuals through artistic performances and cross-cultural dialogues. The very essence of this Season is to show that strength lies in the union of Ukrainian and French artists.<\/p>\n

Cinema played a central role, featuring Iryna Tsilyk, Michel Hazanavicius<\/strong>, representatives from the documentary collection G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Ukraine<\/strong>, and the French philosopher, writer, and filmmaker Bernard-Henri L\u00e9vy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Music, literature, and poetry were also highlighted, with contributions from Andriy Kurkov, bandurist Volodymyr Voyt, the Dakh Daughters, Rapha\u00ebl, Philippe Claudel, Juliette Binoche<\/strong>, and many other engaged artists.<\/p>\n

The evening was filled with truly moving moments, notably when the audience gave a long round of applause to Olena Zelenska<\/strong> and a standing ovation to Yaryna Chornohuz and Artem Chapeye<\/strong>, poet and writer actively engaged on the front lines.<\/p>\n

A simple yet powerful way to express shared support.<\/p>\n

The evening was hosted by Tetyana Ogarkova<\/strong> (Ukraine Crisis Media Centre) and Fabrice Puchault<\/strong> (ARTE). The two co-organizing institutes were represented by Eva Nguyen Binh<\/strong>, President of the Institut fran\u00e7ais, and Volodymyr Sheiko<\/strong>, Director General of the Ukrainian Institute.<\/p>\n

This opening launches four months of programming in numerous cities, including Paris, Marseille, Lille, Rennes, Metz, Lyon, Toulouse, Nantes, Caen, and Strasbourg<\/strong>, with around fifty events combining visual arts, live performance, cinema, literature, debates, heritage, and educational initiatives.<\/p>\n

The Season will also address essential topics such as human rights, health, memory, reconstruction<\/strong>, and the fight against disinformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For Stand With Ukraine<\/strong>, it is an honor to contribute to this dynamic by ensuring, together with the two institutes, the labelling of projects<\/strong> carried out in communities across France.<\/p>\n

We support municipalities, associations, cultural venues, and institutions wishing to integrate their initiatives into the Season, encouraging broad and coordinated participation throughout the country.<\/p>\n

This Season opens a space for sustainable exchange and cooperation<\/strong> between French and Ukrainian cultural scenes. Stand With Ukraine thanks all the partners, artists, and institutions mobilized to bring this Voyage en Ukraine<\/strong> to life as it deserves.<\/p>\n
