August 24: Ukrainian Independence Day<\/span>On August 24, 1991, Ukraine declared its independence after the collapse of the USSR. Since then, this date has been observed as a Ukrainian national holiday: a day of freedom, remembrance, and pride.<\/p>\n

On August 24, 2025, rallies and events will be held in many cities across France to express our solidarity with Ukraine and its people, who continue to resist Russian aggression.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
